At I Would Rather Be Reading, we are dedicated to making education fun and engaging for students in Louisville. We strive to provide quality after-school programming that excites students about learning and inspires them to achieve success. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where students can explore their interests, develop new skills, and build self-confidence.

Enrichment Spotlight

At I Would Rather Be Reading, our mission is to engage and elevate students in their love for reading and literacy. We believe that inspiring a passion for reading in children can lead to a lifetime of learning and growth. That’s why we provide unique and exciting experiences to young readers, like our recent tour at TRF Sanctuary Farm, where Kerrick and Jacob Elementary students had the opportunity to engage with retired racehorses and customize their own Kentucky Derby pins. We believe that reading is not only essential for academic success but also for personal growth and development.
